Welcome interwebz visitor.

If you have come across this page, you must be either really lost, or you are looking to check out what the site is about. If you are a returning visitor we thank you, and hope that you’ll share our content with your friends!

It is simple, this website is about a hobby and that hobby is pretty much anything that involves rockets, and remote control apparatus’s. This means planes, drones, r/c cars and FPV clips for you to check out of how our wins and losses have gone.

Steves Shack FPV Powered Glider.

Our team gets together often in the Bradenton, Florida region. We welcome anyone that is interested in this hobby, or simply interested of seeing planes fly around at the park. If you decide to join us, please check out the rules. Items in this hobby can be pretty expensive, we ask that you read the rules as it will help maintain equipment intact.

View of our ESTES Baby Bertha Rocket from Vinny’s FPV Glider. Actual distance from plane was roughly 2 feet and taken with a wide angle lens. This image was taken at about 400ft up.

A few things to know if this is your first time coming out with an RC/Rocketry group.

If this is your first time coming out to meet up with a hobby group, or even first time you are going to attempt to show off your skills on your device you should check a few things.

  1. Frequencies being used. Frequencies can cross. Expensive equipment can be lost easily. Always check at what frequencies pilots are flying. If we know others are going up, we are glad to review that and make sure that everyone can fly with no issues.
  2. Introduce yourself. Dont be a stranger. Nothing makes folks more uncomfortable than a random wildcard crashing in the party with unknown intentions. Not everyone’s intentions are genuine.
  3. Dont feel like sharing info on your build, that’s ok! We get it, however, we choose to be open with you about the stuff we use and do.
  4. We are interested in knowing what you would like to see at gatherings…. share it! We want everyone to have the most fun possible.
  5. And for the final rule, we are at the park to have fun… don’t be a dick.

Are there any specific goals when out at the park with other that everyone should be aware of?

We try to keep it as fun as possible, and like to capture really solid video. If you are using an FPV setup, or a drone, we are more than happy to ensure you get in on the action and get some excellent footage in the process you can share with your friends.

All the best,
