XROKETS.COM, founded during the era of COVID in early 2019. As COVID-19 lockdowns became the norm we decided that this would be an excellent way to keep my young boys entertained and interested in learning, all while being able to play outdoors while social distancing. Parks back then where always empty, which made this hobby a fairly pleasant one as there was little to no hazards just about anywhere we went to launch small rockets.

While we where out as a family we encountered other like minded folks that had found an interest in the R/C hobby and rockets. As we frequently saw each other in the park we began to group up and cross implement our hobby’s for maximum fun. This is how XROKETS was born as a place was needed to help ensure that we would be able to share some good times with each other.
As each of our hobby’s progressed and we started documenting our flights, runs, launches we decided it would be entertaining to post it on a website to better share with folks what we do, and why.

Rocketry is an interesting hobby, and one that becomes a different type of fun when you begin to incorporate better electronic systems to achieve results specific flights, runs, or launches. Indeed some of our projects are based on pure science fiction, but mention me one invention that didn’t spawn from a humans unrealistic dreams. Our philosophy is that, “nothing is impossible, we just don’t know how to do it yet”.
We are not a business, we are merely a group of like-minded folks that welcome others, and their families to join us and enjoy this excellent hobby that teaches the basics of STEM.

If you would like to join us out in the field feel free to visit the contact us section and send us an email. We are glad to share with you our next outing, and answer any questions you may have regarding any of the topics we cover on this website.
If you are planning on coming out to the field to meet up with us, please make sure you read the following links of rules and etiquette that we ask of anyone present during our meet-ups. Last but not least, we try to only gather for a few hours at a time as the Florida heat can be challenging.
